Hunter Gross is a current and innovative percussionist, performer, and composer. He began his at the University of Oklahoma, he is currently in his fourth and final year.  At the University of Oklahoma, Hunter has been a vibrant and involved percussionist participating in the prestigious OU Percussion Orchestra, as well as many other ensembles. He most recently was selected as a member of the 2019 PASIC Collegiate All-Star Chamber Ensemble, there he performed with some of the best collegiate percussionists in a showcase concert. In January of 2019, Hunter was selected on a Fellowship to attend the Toolbox International Creative Academy Festival. There he played with percussionists from all over Asia and learned from top percussionists in the field such as David Herbert, Principal Percussionist of the Chicago Symphony. He also was the 2017 winner of the Ladies Music Club Nichols Percussion Competition. He continues to compete in multiple percussion competitions around the world and is open to new and innovative ideas in the percussion community.
